It’s the funniest tidbit of news I’ve heard in a while. Dear old Albus Dumbledore is a homosexual. God, what is the world coming to? Not only does Harry Potter promote witchcraft and devil worship, but homosexuality as well, the Church is going to have a fit.

@Karry – It was actually meant to be sarcastic. I don’t have any problems with homosexuals, I actually don’t have a problem with anything. It was just funny, Rowling’s fanning her own fire by coming out with that statement.

I agree, it’s a marketing ploy. The quality of her writing is debatable but her marketing skills are good. It was just incredibly funny that her latest ploy was to have Dumbledore come out of the closet. Like giever said, it’s just one more reason for a bunch of clergymen to condemn Harry Potter as the bane of society.
